The UC Davis SHCS Postdoctoral Training Program provides advanced training opportunities in the core areas of our university counseling services: Crisis Intervention, Brief Psychotherapy, Group Therapy, Consultation to Campus Units and Departments, and Program Development & Outreach. The overarching objective of the Doctoral Internship in Health Service Psychology, an integral element of SHCS organization, is to train ethical, competent psychologists who are capable of functioning independently and will contribute both to the welfare of society and to the profession.
